What local storage does
Local storage keeps small records in a browser for a particular website address. Unlike a cookie, those records are not automatically attached to every page request. Travomio uses them to keep the choices you make in its tools.
The website code does not create cookies. A hosting provider’s security features or the private preview’s sign-in system may use their own cookies. That depends on the platform and settings used to serve the site.
What the site remembers
| Saved information | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Packing settings | Trip label, length, laundry and beach choices | Until cleared by you or the browser |
| Checked and custom items | Keep your packing progress and additions | Until cleared by you or the browser |
| Budget inputs | Remember the amounts you entered | Until cleared by you or the browser |
| Reading preference | Remember the larger article text setting | Until cleared by you or the browser |
These records are stored under names beginning with travomio-. The tools do not send them to a server. There is no cross-device account or backup.
Clear or block saved data
Use this button to remove Travomio’s tool records in the current browser. It does not delete downloads, browsing history, other websites’ information or hosting logs. Close other Travomio tabs first if you do not want an open tool to save your choices again.
This removes your packing list, budget and reading preference from this browser. It cannot be undone.
You can also delete or restrict site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Restrictions may prevent the tools from remembering your progress. The guides remain readable.
If tracking is introduced
Advertising and analytics services are not currently part of this site. If that changes, the storage inventory and any required consent controls must be updated before the relevant tracking is enabled. Read the privacy policy for the wider explanation of information use.
